Besides the marine life, Raja Ampat has different attractions that will make your holidays much complete. Paradisiacal landscapes, cultural activities, adventure trips,… Everything you are looking for your holidays you can find it in Raja Ampat.
Piaynemo Viewpoint
Let yourself dream about the views at the famous Piaynemo viewpoint. From there you can see the beautiful formation of the bay with tiny islands and turquoise waters. The authentic “Paradise on earth” that will make you fall in love with Raja Ampat. There you can also visit the “Bukit Bintang” viewpoint (star shape lagoon). No need to wear proper shoes, there is a wooden path made in both viewpoints. Level: Easy
Snorkel Trips
Exploring Raja Ampat on a half-day or full-day trip is an unforgettable adventure. Its islands, pristine beaches, and coral reefs reveal a unique paradise filled with marine life and breathtaking landscapes. These outings not only connect you with nature, but also support sustainable tourism and local communities. We especially recommend the trips organized by responsible homestays and tour operators, the experience will change you and the place 100%. Check our Partners; one day in the water with them is an adventure you’ll never forget.
Kali Biru River
Walk up the river until the source where their turquoise waters and jungle surroundings will leave you speechless. Level: Easy and fairly flat route.
Birds of Paradise
Trekking through the jungle looking for really unique bird species that you can only see in this corner of the world.
Batanta Waterfalls
Jungle trekking to visit two amazing waterfalls. To reach the first one it’s a simple flat path through the wooden pier built above the mangroves. If you want to reach the second one you’ll have to go a little bit further, and you’ll have to walk up through slippery jungle floor, rocks, roots and sometimes jumping fallen tree trunks. We recommend proper non-slippery shoes. Level: 1st waterfall is Easy. The level of the second one is Medium
Private Diving
Another experience that we 100% recommend if you are staying in the Dampier Strait area (Kri, Mansuar, Arborek, Gam, Waisai) is to do a private dive, as this will allow you to enjoy at your own pace and away from crowds of divers (during some months there may be overbooking in the area). Since we tried it we no longer want to dive any other way in Raja Ampat. If you are interested contact us.
Camping trip
Set up camp on Raja Ampat's pristine beaches, where the gentle sound of waves and rustling palms provide a serene backdrop. Camping here allows for a unique connection with nature, offering stunning sunrise views and tranquil nights.

Help Restore the Corals of Raja Ampat
Raja Ampat, one of the richest marine ecosystems on the planet, is in danger. Rising sea temperatures, pollution, and human activity have damaged many coral reefs—vital for marine life and coastal protection. Coral restoration is an effective way to bring life back to the ocean: healthy fragments are collected and replanted in damaged reefs. It’s a beautiful and vital process that is already showing results. We proudly collaborate with The Sea People, organization dedicated to coral reef restoration and ocean conservation in Raja Ampat. You can be part of the change! By joining or supporting local projects, you help preserve this natural treasure for future generations. Every coral matters. Every action counts.
